Universal Tap Tempo Control Chip MV-52 by Molten Voltage allows you to connect a sophisticated, compact, and highly accurate Tap Tempo controller to your circuit with a minimum of external components. It has proven accuracy of greater than 1/1000th of a second.

Users change the output tempo by pressing a normally open switch twice. The time between presses determines the Real Time output tempo pulse. The tempo is then scaled by selecting one of four modes (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4), which is accomplished by grounding a particular pin. Switching modes seamlessly scales the tempo "on the fly".
